Hey all,

I have a macbook pro early 2009.

I want to upgrade it. I made a thread earlier and decided to get:

- 8 GB upgrade (2x4gb)
- 64 GB SSD
- Optibay
- USB DVD enclosure

Does anyone know the best place online where I can probably get this on sale for black friday? Any of these items? I was thinking of getting the Crucial stuff since its got good ratings on newegg and the price is fair.

I also want to get a Monitor.

Been looking at the Dell UltraSharp (U2412M) series which I hope they will have $100 (they do in here in Canada) off for black friday, which is a pretty good deal:

Can anyone make any monitor suggestions?

If you want the 64gb SSD then get Samsung 830 series which newegg got them on sale!

Well I was thinking 64gb is all I need for the OS? I can always run APPS on my OEM 320gb HD, or would I want all apps and programs on the SSD? I thought it was best to have just the OS on the SSD?

Do you happen to have a link to it, im not the best when it comes to hardware and dont want to get the wrong one.

I assume its this one:

Is it much better then the Crucial:
