I'm experiencing something weird when I'm watching trailers on Apple.com. There are _no_ blacks, those areas are instead green.

How do I get rid of this, and why does this happen?

Do you mean the greenish colour tint?

I have got the same, with the 480p version of that trailer.

I think the movie makers just colour corrected it to that greenish colour tint, so it would feel more disordered.

Or do you mean something else?

Maybe it's your colour profile.

The green colour is on every trailer on Apple.com. If I watch a standard DVD or camera movie, it does not have a green colour to it. So it's just Apple's trailers.

You might need to change your color profile.

Perform simple monitor calibration by going to
System Preferences / Displays / Color

Thanks for your answer, but there is nothing wrong with the colour profile, since everything except Apple's trailers looks just dandy.

Perhaps there's a setting in QuickTime?
