Black 'infobar'

HI All,

I have a long black ifo bar on the bottom left of my screen, I have no idea how it got there and I cant get rid of it. Right now its says "firefox has a new window" if I click on a folder, it tells me what folder and all other useless "information" like that.

How can I get rid of it? Its driving me nuts! Thanks
