If you have an iPad, a bluetooth keyboard would work. Amazon, Ebay, Apple..

Lol na i mean a thame to change the cool of my iphone keyboard, but thanks for the reply

The keyboard is black in the Facebook app and it looks amazing. I wish I could use that keyboard everywhere instead of the gray one...

could you post a pic, I do not have this?

Sure, here you go. It looks really awesome on the iPhone 4 display, better than the screen shot.

oh it only shows up when you do a status update. The rest of the app uses the regular keyboard. This would be an awesome keyboard though. I remember during the 2.x days that you could theme keyboards.

It is black when you do comments too. When you use Search it just uses the stock gray keyboard though. I'm not sure what causes the difference, but the black sure looks sweet.

just to add to the topic, I'm looking for a black version of the default ios theme (including keyboard)

Search for "Black Keyboard" in Cydia. There is a package by shafaei, version 1.0.1, that works with all firmwares (including iOS 5 beta 6 that I am on) that will make your keyboard the one that pops up when entering your Appstore password, etc., and it doesn't even require Winterboard :)

Used this on my ipad and iphone for months now, it is nice.

I use this on the iPad as well, it's stunning. Apple's crazy to use the stock grey version instead of that one.

On the phone, I use Color Keyboard (and not for a black on black version), but if I'd seen the Black Keyboard tweak first, I probably would've saved the money. The Black Keyboard is really that sexy.

Thanks for this, didn't know it existed. I like it.

I installed the "Black Keyboard" (3GS running 4.3.3) but the only thing that turned black was the keyboard background. The keys are still the stock grey with black letters. Any advice on what I need to fix?

(First post! :D)

Same experience as iGatorchomp, I have the black keyboard (coincidentally it's the same one you guys are talking about), but the keys are still grey.

If you look here for the explanation or at DDustiNN's post above, you'll see how it looks on the iPhone. The black keys/black background shown in the screenshot provided with the tweak apparently only works on the iPad, the iPhone version is black background with grey keys.

What Trey1984 shows above (matte black on black) is done with ColorKeyboard, which is a paid tweak, not Black Keyboard--I'm not sure what setup he's using for that specific one as ColorKeyboard has a TON of options to choose from.
