Black MacBook Heat Issue

Searched and read some about the issue. I did not spot a 'fix'. Perhaps you wouldn't mind hashing this one over again?

Mine gets extremely hot in no time. I called for help and they set me up with the local Apple store. A new fan was installed, but the laptop still heats up way too much in my opinion. Anyone have similar experience? I have AppleCare extended warranty. My only comparison is to a work issued Dell that does not get hot at all.

Love the Mac, but am uncomfortable due to heat and worried about heat related wear on the machine. Where do I turn next?

Would you suggest a cooling pad type device or modifications/software changes to the Mac?

check out smcfancontrol for mac. it's free software that lets you control the fans on any intel mac manually, allowing you to cool your system to your liking. I'm not sure if this can solve your problem, but it's good software!
