Hey! Just been searching for the past 2 and a half hours trying to find a way to turn my macbook on but no joy.

in a brief description, its a late 2007 model, black, uprated 4GB RAM, 250GB HD. I've bought it from a friend and when i bought it, the keyboard and track pad wasn't working and now, it just wont power up at all, no HD noise, fans or LED's anywhere! D: but it is charging fine, the battery had over half left and the LED on the charger is fine too.

I've tried resetting the power management and PRAM. all the usual ideas, making me think it could be something internal.

Anyone have any ideas?

Thanks!

Possibly the top case has gone bad? Seems logical since the keyboard and trackpad weren't functioning. If the edge of the top case is chipped, take it in to the Apple store and get the top case swapped out. That might fix your problem (and will cost you nothing).
