Black MacBook Pro

I was look on ebay at the different black MacBooks there were being sold and came accros this.
I thought at first it was a black MacBook with the Invisible shield, no it is a painted MacBook Pro done by colorware.

I did a quick search of the forum to see if any one had posted pictures of a similar nature and couldn't find any.

Anyway, I really like the black, waiting for C2D MBP with black anodized aluminium. Has anyone had this done to their notebooks, I might do it if I can find an extra $450.

nope, i think it's not worth the $450. i'd rather put that money to better use (an ACD, applecare, new software, WoW plus more a year and a half of subscription... u name it )

I've never seen a laptop done by Colorware in real life, but I've seen a few iPods, and they do a good job. It's up to you, but I think it voids your Applecare warranty and then you have to have a Colorware warranty.
