Black Macbook RAM Question-- I joined the Mac family!!

I have been waiting since november for MBP. I just bought a Black Book instead, the savings will be put toward a new MBP 3 years from now.

I want 4 gigs of ram in this baby, can anyone help me find compatible ram for the best price on the internet..

This is my first mac, sorry for a quadroople thread if there is a million. I am pumped for this laptop..

This thread also could be about joining the Mac family!!!!

Welcome. www.newegg.com has good prices on quality ram. You just need DDR2 533mhz - should be between $100-130 right now for 2x2gb

No that is wrong. You need 667 SODIMMs

If you live in an area with a MicroCenter they price match online prices ... last time I was there they had a 4GB kit from OCZ and Buffalo for $80.

I pay sales tax there but its a small price to pay to support a brick and mortar that finally gets it.

g. skill from newegg...80 bucks shipped for 4gb. lifetime warranty and took about 2 min to swap. I just added mine today...got the macbook yesterday. I'm a mac noob and lovin it.
