I should point out that's for a Core 2 Duo, not a Core Duo (which if you find one, is like another $100 or so less expensive, I believe)

Actually the Core Duo Blackbooks are a bit cheaper than that aren't they? I think they go for around a 1000. I could be wrong though...I just remember always looking at the refurb page and wanting to buy a blackbook and convince my parents to buy off my white MB. hehe.
