Black Macbook Superdrive won't accept DVDs anymore

Bought a black Macbook in August '07, no problems. Went to do a clean install of Leopard the other day and it wouldn't accept my original disc. It would accept a copy of it, though. Come to find out, it won't accept any original DVDs (movies or data) or burned DVDs with DVD+R DLs as the exception. It will take all CDs, though. Firmware or...?

I tried command/option/P/R already, didn't fix it.

Did you call Apple?

I'd take it to the Genius Bar. Maybe then can replace it for a new one if you're lucky!

Called Apple, now I have to send it in. No Apple stores near where I live. :-(
