Black Macbook vs 2008 Macbook

My concern is the difference in screen quality and video playback.
How does the Black macbook compare to the latest macbook?

Decidedly inferior graphics (intel x3100 v. nvidia 9400) and IMO dimmer, lesser quality screen.

Right on the dot with that one. Comparing my macbook to my sister's white macbook, the screen isn't as bright, and mine gets a tiny bit better viewing angles.
