Personally, I think it looks better (the contrast between white and black).

For example, I prefer the white MacBook over the black MacBook, except when it comes to the white Apple on the black MacBook - THAT S*** IS BLING! :D

Eh....nothing a little bit of black paint wouldn't accomplish.

I personally think that black and white is an awesome color scheme. :)

i think people had/have the same complaints about ipods.. the accessories don't match. i think black cords and such that match your choice would be excellent, though i certainly understand from apple's perspective why they wouldn't want to have two lines of something as simple as a power adapter.

it is to make your black book look just as cool as all those hipster silhouettes from the ipod commercials.

black ibuds are just not iconic enough for the free advertising SJ expects you to do for him.

EDIT: sorry, you are talking about power cords and what not. i like the white mag safe, matches apple logo. the remote should be black though.

It is probably manufacturing costs.
I don't mind it though, I dig the contrast as well.

The black PSP's came with white buds which I thought was weird, of course I have a ceramic white one so it didn't matter. Plus I don't use the stock buds anyways.

White on black can look cool. I had a very hard time deciding whether to order black or white JBL Creature II's to go with my white Macbook (although I eventually decided on white...though I do now wish I'd got black  ). I'm also going to get a black iPod when the time comes (i.e. the next iPod which can take higher resolution H.264 movies is released).

Well at first I thought it look tacky. But I think the white and black give it a very "Apple-ish" feel, due to the fact that Apple's logo on the lid is a distinct white. :)
