I don't know if they still have it, but in January, I got a new early '08 model whitebook 2.4GHz/2GB RAM/160GB HD/Superdrive for $900 (after a $75 rebate) from Macconection.

Technically, I see them as limited edition. They were okay priced back before the Unibody switch, but since they don't have nVidia graphics, they are slightly pricey.

If they bring them below $1000, I might consider purchasing one because they were very nice. I wish they would bring the previous White Macbook (w/o nVidia graphics) down in price...
