Black or White iphone 3Gs?

i had both an black and a white iphone 3g over the past year.
The only thing i found was that the black gets awfully smudgy and finger printy(<--- if thats even a term). As far as cracking I didnt have a problem with either one.
I bought the white 3gs this time around.

So this will be my first iPhone and I decided to go with the 16G white. To match my white MacBook.

Fingerprints shouldn't be that much of a problem if your planning to
purchase the 3G S⃣ . It has an oil-resistant coating.
Personally, I have the white iPhone 3G and have had it for just under 12
months. Apart from the Apple logo on the back being a tad scratched up
the iPhone is not dis-coloured in any way - and that's without a case.

I bought the white iPhone 3G because it was different, said "im more expensive and sexy", and most importantly, it didn't get disgusting smudges and fingerprints.
However, this time around I'm torn. The 3G S has an anti-smudge/anti-fingerprint casing. If it really does not get smudged up, I think I'm leaning towards the black.
Also, now both models are in white, so having the white one doesn't say "im more expensive."

I got the white 3G why, because after I stood in line on launch day, when I got to the front the very nice lady at at&t came out and told us "they sold out of black 16G", after about a week of looking at it funny, I found I really did like how it looked. To make a long story short I've ordered the 3Gs in White

I read this thinking someone had decided to get a 3gs now they are cheaper because of the iPhone 4 being out.
I was wondering why no one mentioned the iPhone 4, such as 'just get an iPhone 4'

They have these cool things called cases. You can get a ton of different ones on ebay for cheap...and in any color you like.
You know you guys just resurrected a year old thread, right?

Sorry to bump this thread, but how do you resurrect such an old thread? Like seriously, it should be on the 20th page or something shouldn't it? Search fail maybe?
