- I would'nt buy a white watch

Well certainly if you wouldn't buy a white watch then a white phone is simply out of the question.

No, but seriously, look around on the interwebs and check out unboxing pics/videos to get a more accurate representation of the color/design. Some people ordered one color and then after seeing unboxings, regretted it and wished they had ordered a different one.

You don't find it a little embarrassing to come into a forum and ask people to help you pick a color? That is such an easy life decision to make which you should be able to do quite easily. If you need help picking a color for a phone, what are you going to do when you have to make really important decisions?

I thought about this a lot. I went with black because it has a newer look. The aluminum is dark and the Apple logo matches the gloss black. It also looks very uniform and I like the way the screen just pops out of the black.

On the other hand, the white one looks like the 4/4S model. Same white glass. Same silver bezel. And the back lacks uniformity. The silver and white does not blend nicely, and the Apple logo is a chrome silver, adding a third color to the whole look.

I also had a white 4S so a new color is great. I'm just concerned about the visible smudges on it!

the damn iPhone 5 isn't even in people's hands yet, and people are claiming scuff gate.

now i know there were a few reports of it, but perhaps the people that had demo units should have taken care of their phone?

regardless, the black looks 100x better than white, even if it's all scuffed up.
