iPod Black or White iPod?

I apologize but I did a search for a similar thread to this, but couldn't find one.

What color iPod is best...in your opinion and why?

I just ordered a white 30gb with the student promo. I heard that black scratches more.
 
I love my black one, simply because its different. My dad has a white video iPod and I have the black one, but there's nothing really to compare seeing as he never uses his and it sits catching dust, while I use mine every day. I guess I could take some pics if you really wanted me too though.

Black. So you can stare at it and wonder how much more black could this be. And the answer is none. None more black.
 
I like them both... the only reason I have an ipod is I randomly chose the white one- I didn't put any thought into it whatsoever. I don't have any preference for one over the other really

lol now we can be confused over which one is the blackest and which one is the whitest ipod ever. put the two side by side an we're in for hours of fun ;)

You could just post the url links to the pics rather then the pics themselves..
 
I had a White 2g 20gb iPod and just bought a Black iPod nano when it first came out. Wish I'd gotten the White one. I bought my gf the white nano for her birthday, and she also got a Black Video iPod from her bosses at work... I still think the white nano looks better =)

I have an invisible shield so it doesn't scratch, but White just looks better imo. The contrast between white and gray of the click wheel, and it stands out easier.

I'd rather have a Black Macbook over white though, the matte black finish looks sleek.
 
black is purty but you'll be afraid to touch it, I had a black nano and it scratched so easily and was so noticible it was too much of a pain if you liek to keep them nice looking, I'd stick with the white :)
 
i have had every generation of ipod ( except the mini ) so far, which of course have all been white.

then i got the black nano. and when i first saw it. i was in love, its a very gorgeous little device. BUT! mine is scratched to hell lol. i got one of the very first ones for sale, and i was just so impressed at its miniscule size, and i still love it in black, but it definitely shows more scratches.

i have a 5th gen white 60Gb in the mail for me right now. i didnt want to get black in this one actually.


however, when i get my macbook ( when photoshop is universal ) i will get the black one :)
