I look at both black and white iphones and i cant choose. Both look sleek

Go to the store, pick up both, and decide which one you like more. We shouldn't have to make this decision for you ;)

I have the back my GF has the white. I love the black because of its sleek all business no BS look however my GF white iP5 does stand out more/more eyepopping when looking at it... U just have to decide what fits you more.

I chose the white. It looks pretty simple, clean, and shiny with the silver backing and sides. love it.

the black this time around seems to dull (for my liking ) anyway.

I opted for the white i5. I use mine naked (well, with a bodyguardz film protecting the back and sides) and enjoy it a lot.

However, if someone is planning on putting a case on it, I'd recommend getting black because of the front face. Black seems to work better for the front. However I do enjoy white a lot.

I hope apple makes an iPhone that's white on back and black on front (again). That would be awesome.

Over a period of time if you get white and use it without any case/cover, I am always concerned that one could possibly see scratches, wear and tear marks, stains and dirt more easily on a white unit than a black one.

I have a white iPhone 5. The white and silver in my opinion is brighter, flashier and stands out. You can really see the design of the phone.

I took a good look on both the white and black iPhone´s in local store.
I would say that: Both Phones are really pretty.

White iPhone:
is far flashier "bling bling", scratches are less noticeable (if any are made).

Black iPhone:
can be considers better for viewing media on it, due to the sides being in black and hence the screen just melts together with the corners.
I have not noticed any noticeable scratches on the black iPhone in my local store, and it has been standing there for weeks. As long as you don't drop it or use keys against it, it WONT scratch. Not as fragile as some make it out to be.
I even tried applying some pressure with my nails, no scratches.

to conclude, the black one is better for viewing media but the white can be better for standing out.

I have orders the black, but i still have time if i where to change my mind.

I received my white iphone 5 on launch day, and then changed my mind. Asked Apple for a replacement in black and made my mind up.

Black is just stealthy, it's sleek and the white doesn't look as nice imo.

Just do what I did , look over some of the images of both models, weigh up the pros and cons, and jump in.

My black model has no scuffs, dents or nicks, it's flawless. Everything works as it should do. After 3+ weeks it's been nekkid and not a flaw to be seen.

Honestly, you can't go wrong with either.
Black looks great and 'stealthy' with the dark metal, but the white looks really shiny and eye catching.

Personally, I'd go black, but you can't go wrong.

I went white, but to be honest you can't make your judgement based on still pictures. What turned me on to the white was how the mirrored edges catches the reflections of the surroundings. Something that pictures won't show. Also white hides both fingerprints and scratches a lot better than the black.

I was dead set on white. I mean black wasn't even a option. I had a white iPhone 4, 4s, and S3. Then something happened. I saw both phones in real life. I instantly fell in love with the black. It is so slick looking. The matte black theme is gorgeous. I suggest you look and hold them both in real life if you haven't yet before you make your decision.

I've had both, and I like both but the ONE thing that really stood out about the black was the eye-popping colors of the display against the all-black front of the iPhone 5...WOW! The colors just don't look as vivid on the white phone to my eyes...
