Black or White?

Got White, would have gotten black, but they ran out. Probably doesn't matter, but the White ones def. get way more abuse without a case on...
got a black 3g but i hate it b/c the scratches show up real good and overall looks just bad after wear and tear. i suggest the white and i will get white when i buy a new iphone later on
I much prefer the white iPhone to the black one, it just looks better to me. I currently have the white iPhone 3G and when I get the 3Gs it will also be white.

IN my experience not at all. It looks and feels the same as the outer casing of white MacBooks and is extremely easy to clean. My MB is over 2.5 years old and if placed near new whitebooks it looks just as white. My friend has a white iPhone 3G that he have been using without a case for over 7 months and its also as white as new ones.
...good way to tell the two models apart... if I was going to get one, it would be black though...
Mine is all beat up. The scratches are noticeable and the coloring in areas of the crack has beiged. But it's not like the phone is yellowing at all. I will say that the black does get scratches easily, but both phones in reality do. At a distance the white scratches are more noticeable to me, up close the black is the scratchier of the two...
While white does look very stylish and iPod like, I prefer the black. It just looks like it "belongs" to me. When it comes to an iPod Classic, I'd go white. iPhone, black. Plus, I don't like dirt and oil to show up. It does on white more easily.

32GB for me Black
The $100 upgrade price too the 32GB wasn't bad for me, of course that's for a 2 year contract. Which means I probably won't be able to get the next model when it's released at least not right away. hence why I decided to go 32GB.

Blac 32GB - Having been hitting the 16GB limit for a while, it's nice to have a bit more headroom. I remember having a pretty heated debate whilst inline on the opening morning, about whether to get 8 or 16 (16GB models sold out quick as stores had much more 8GB handsets than 16) - same logic, same reasoning - i'd go with the highest you can get.
The new model does video too, so it would be nice to have some more space to store video on it. With 16GB more to play with, that's a lot more podcasts etc too.

32GB Black iPhone. I was a sucker and got the 4GB back in 2007, and I refused to get the baby of the group this time. Plus, I plan on waiting the full 2 years to upgrade again, so I figured the more storage space the better. I'm hoping Apple has a 128GB iPhone in 2011

I'm getting the 32GB too. 100% more RAM for 50% more $ seems like a no brainer. Plus, in two years a 32GB iPhone will be as roomy as an 8GB is today. Pics on the 3GS will take up more space w/ the bigger sensor, then add video to the mix in addition to bigger apps like Tiger Woods. 16GB seems tiny all the sudden.
I must say I'm surprised the buy ratio between 32 and 16 is relatively even. I would have guessed people here would have gone overwhelmingly for more space.
