Hi guys,

The black plastic part of my iphone ( the area at the bottom, where the dock connector is) is not flush where it meet with the aluminum part of the phone. Also if I grip the sides of plastic they "give" a little and make a squeaking sound. Are your iphones the same, or does this indicate a poorly assembled unit?

Thanks,
Matt

I found the "give" on my iPhone the other day. On the left side it gives a little when pressing on the black part on the side. I don't think the right side does it, but I swiftly put it in a leather case so I wouldn't compulsively press on it. I'm actually kind of relieved to see I'm not alone.

Mine does the exact same thing

Mine gives and clicks on the right side of the black. There was a thread about this yesterday with someone else having the problem.

I can't seem to find the post you are referring to, can you please post the link if you remember where you found it.

Thanks
