Black-screen freeze on sleep

About once a day I get the following:

My new MBPro 2011 15" 2.2 GHZ will go to sleep...but not wake up. Tapping the power button will make a little swirly sound...but nothing more. The keyboard is lit, but the screen isn't.

I'll have no recourse but to do a hard reboot. It Stinks.
