black screen issue.

i've been lurking around trying to find if others have had this problem, and it seems a couple have it.

everytime i answer or make a call from my iphone 3gs, the screen remains black until the phone call ends, and i can't do anything about it. i have to wait until the phone call ends, and then repeatedly hit the sleep button until it turns back on.

anyone else?

yeah, no. it only happened after i updated to ios4.
