Hi,
Yesterday I installed Bootcamp, and not sure if it was a coincidence, but when I left Windows updating, I returned and my Mac screen was completely black.
After examining it, I could see that it was in fact extremely dim, looking hard enough I could see the screen content.
Connecting it to an external display works, but no matter what I try the internal screen remains black.
I've tried reseting PRAM, NVRAM, I even reinstalled OS Catalina from scratch (clean install).
Is this the famous flexgate? I never noticed anything strange before. And no matter what I do, the screen never comes alive even for a split second.
One strange thing I noticed after installing bootcamp, my Mac got somehow corrupted. Spotlight stopped working, I couldn't delete bootcamp partition, and I couldn't boot into safe mode.
After a clean install everything works again. Could a driver have been damaged when installing Windows?
