Hi,
My Macbook Pro (late 2013), running an El Capitan beta (10.11.) is experiencing a black screen while rebooting. Actually, the screen went black coming out of a sleep mode, and I have since tried to restart under a variety of conditions, including safe mode, and other options described here: http://osxdaily.com/2014/11/22/fix-macbook-pro-booting-black-screen/.
I have tried Shift+Control+Option+Power, Command+Option+P+R.
Does anyone here have other tricks up their sleeves to help me out?
Thanks a ton.
PS. Found out that the problem is a backlight issue with the MacBook. Not sure how to move forward.
