I am a computer science major and I get a free copy of Windows XP Pro SP2 for free through the university. I go to the special microsoft website and download it to a windows laptop. It's a .iso file and I burn it to a DVD. I partion my drive fine on my MBP, then click install windows and the MBP restarts and I get a black screen with a flashing vertical line. When I restart my MBP and hold down the option/alt key it gives me the choice to boot up in Mac OS X 10.5 or there is an CD icon that says windows. If I click on the windows icon the same black screen appears. Any help would be welcomed.
