Hi there

I'm having a slight problem with my iPhone 4 and I am hoping you can help.

After resetting my jailbroken iPhone in settings - 'erase all data and settings' (I've read that this was a big no no) - I am now stuck on the black screen with the apple logo. This runs on a loop after turning itself off and on again after around 2.5 mins each time.

itunes does not recongise the iPhone.

I tried running redsnow but each time I do I get stuck on a black screen with a white rectangle at the top left and a spiraling buffering type circle in the middle of the screen.

I should say that I am doing this process on my new mac and I therefore do not have any previous iOS firmware on the mac

I'm not an expert by any means with this so please if anyone can help I would really appreciate any basic instructions!

Thanks

Put it in DFU mode and Itunes will recognize it and will it will allow you to restore your phone.
