Black screen

I just fired up my almost new Macbook Pro a few minutes ago and the screen is totally dark. Not dimmed -- nothing at all. The keyboard lights up. Any idea what has happened?

Can you see anything on the screen if you hold it at an angle? I know this happened to me when I did my SL install. I have no idea why but it did. If you can see without the backlight complete the setup, and do a hard reboot you should be fine. Or you could even do a hard reboot now, and see what that brings you.
