iPad Black Smartcases - Only Leather?

It looks like Apple only produces their black Smartcases in leather. Any reason for that? $49. is already a little more than I'd like to pay for a case. Don't really want leather or the extra $20. added to the price tag.

I'd rather get leather and pay more, I love how leather wears out and how it feels, I don't mind paying little extra. They don't have them for mini yet...

They don't make black smart cases, just smart covers.

Black goes very well with the black border of the iPad. I'm surprised they don't offer the regular Smartcases in that color.
