Checked out a black aw3 with the black Ti band yesterday. On the one side if the watch the band has a good bit of a loop as I guess the band links can’t fold and instead curves around.

Any chance it would flatten down any? See the bottom if the watch..

Technically the official way is to have the loop on the top and you won't notice it as much.

I have tried both Ti Milanese loops and the natural loop lays flatter. I don’t know if it’s the DLC coating on the black Milanese or what, but the loop on the black was noticeably larger. Enough so I didn’t keep it.

I have both and they fold over the same on mine. I wonder if the links can be manipulated to lay a little flatter when they curve back. Kind of how they sometimes kink, and can be straightened again.

Just received my black one today and don’t even notice the loop, it’s at the top and the back of the watch. I love how the band feels on my wrist, makes the ultra look rich and the locking clasp works great.

I found mine used on eBay for a $100 shipped and couldn’t be happier.
