iPhone 16 Pro Black titanium vs. natural titanium - in hand pics

Just picked up both of these to decide which one to keep. Have always had darker phones and wanted to try the white (love silver) last year - couldn't do it. Seems like natural titanium would be similar but not as light.

Which one do you like best?

Honestly, I'm not picky - whatever case I grab will be my new BFF, and the iPhone's color? Meh, not a deal-breaker.

I prefer the Black Titanium. And should have mine in hand in a few hours.

I've mentioned this in previous post but went Natural Ti with 15P and stuck with Natural Ti with 16P. I don't go case less but use a nomad case that only has the back protection. The phone held up very well not showing any signs of wear. I can't comment on how durable the Black Ti is but from previous darker colored Apple products, sometimes a minor scratch will show the true color underneath.

If you end up slapping a case on the phone, color choice might just... meh... not that big of a deal. The Black Ti does look pretty sexy though.

I was torn between these two, so I went to the Apple Store to check out the colors in person today.
I decided to go with Natural Titanium—it’s the best looking, in my opinion.
But the black is nice too. I had the Graphite 13 Pro Max for almost 3 years, so black just isn’t doing it for me this time.

Gotta agree. Natural has a slick grey color to it on the back that looks amazing, and the sides look amazing too. I can only imagine it would withstand scratches where the black would not, my ip14 pro had nicks all over it and it was in a case 24/7 for 2 years

I’d prefer black titanium > natural.

Seems like there are more black cases available than grey ones, and I’d like the camera section of my phone to more closely match the color of the case if possible.

Not to mention my other Apple devices (iPad Pro, Apple Watch) are also black already.

Photos don’t do the natural justice. It’s gorgeous in person. It’s slick and industrial. It looks the most Apple-esque out of all of the colors.

Does anyone have pics of a 15 pro/max and a 16 pro/max side by side? I’m curious if the 16’s are actually darker like the rumors have said.

After a little over a week with the natural titanium, I can't get the black out of my mind. I still have it boxed up at home and. I LOVE the sides of the natural titanium but not as much a fan of the back and the ever-so-slight stainless frame around the front of the phone (vs all black with black titanium). I went 100% case-less last year but do pick up a Caudabe Veil (super thin) case for times when I know others may be holding my phone for pics (travel, etc) and can't stand the lighter camera section, especially using a darker case.

I had the 15 Pro Max in Natural. Now I got the 16 Pro Max in Black and I love the Black. The screen blends in really nicely in the Black.

They’re both really nice. I’m currently using the 16 Pro in Natural Titanium and love the way the light hits the shiny side rails and how the rails reflect the environment. So industrial looking.

Apple really succeeded with the black Ti this year. Almost perfect and was my personal choice. Reminds me of the matt black iPhone 7/+.

I like the Natural Titanium, especially the sides. I did try the Black Titanium briefly and it looks great too. Curiously, the black titanium has been out of stock in all of the Apple Stores in NYC for a while now. They keep getting restocks of every color except black titanium. Very bizarre.

I have black and do like it more but it makes the bezels bigger as the side rails blend in to the bezels

For me, the black is just too dark, the cameras are barely visible and the black only blends well with dark cases. Colorful cases look bad with a black square in the camera window. I had a back titanium 15 pro max, it looked good with the black UAG cases. I went with natural titanium and Desert titanium this year. Much happier.
