Hi All,

On the Apple Canada website, if I order a Macbook white with the same specs as a black Macbook, the price is different. Why?

Example: Black macbook, standard configuration = $1549 (Canadian academic pricing) 2.16ghz processor, 160 gb HD, 1gb memory, superdrive, etc.

White macbook, same configuration (which involves upgrading a hard drive from their standard package) = $1433

The issue is the same on the US apple site. ($1374 vs. $1499)

What do I get for the extra $100 other than a black case?

Thanks. If this has been explained already somewhere else on the board, just let me know.

Every time I think about the Black Book, I remember what P.T. Barnum said.... and chuckle.

The only different is the color which I think is pretty neat since I'm a fan of black!
And yeah there a lot of these threads, just have a look around in the Macbook/Macbook Pro forum. ;)
