with the Tequila!
I am thinking about changing phones to the Blackberry 7130 from Verizon(not here to start a wireless company flame war). I am very happy with them, so not looking to change providers. So I am just curious how others have liked this phone etc. I know there is pocketmac available for syncing on Macs and I believe I read that RIM licensed their software, but I haven't heard anything since on that. My main questions are:

  • Does the battery last long enough? Wear down fast?
  • How is the voice quality through the handset? Bluetooth headset?
  • Does syncing work over bluetooth or only USB(not a deal breaker)?
  • Has anyone gotten tethering to work on a Mac or is that strictly a PC thing for the time being?
  • Any other thoughts that you know of that I can't think of...

Thanks for any insight you can provide!!

wireless broadband with sprint/nextel and blackberry 7130

i bought a blackberry 7130 from sprint/nextell, based on the promise that i could use it for wireless broadband. apparently it works in thew pc world, but neither my seller, nor i have been able to make it work.
i'm using a powerbook g4, running os 10.4.7.
has anyone been able to tether a blackberry 7130 to a powerbook g4 and get broadband internet access that way?
replies appreciated.
