So, I had 3G then 3GS with unlimited iPhone data for about 2 years now. I sold my 3GS last week and switched over to Blackberry unlimited so I could get my emails for a week or two until the new iPhone 4 comes out. The lady from AT&T assured me that I would be able to switch back when the new phone comes out without any problems.
I realized just after the June 6 deadline that I might be missing out on the grandfathered iPhone unlimited data $30/mo plan. I called AT&T to see if I could switch back and they seemed to think I would be screwed into the 2GB/$25 plan.
I read an ATT article today that said "smartphones" can still get the unlimited.
"Current smartphone customers are not
required to switch to the new plans, but can choose to do so without a contract extension"
So I saved the article.
Any ideas?
