Seriously, is there any point of April Fools jokes anymore? It's quite obvious that they're jokes when they happen on this day. Save it for another day when people might actually believe your prank. Plus, the Storm is still available on the Verizon Wireless website.
Best April Fools online joke I've seen is when a local radio station had their web site look like it was totally hacked and changed...then after 5 seconds it changed back to normal with a big "April Fools" message.
A good joke is one that people can believe and will believe. Discontinuing the Storm is too far-fetched for people to buy into.

- New iPhone coming out, but not available to AT&T or the US. Put some stuff in there on a legality issue or something.
- Some big virus came out and is wrecking iPhones. Put some thing about a fix Apple is sending to all iPhones, then have the text that arrives say "APRIL FOOLS!"
- Microsoft to offer Office Mobile for iPhone.
- AT&T to raise rates on all current iPhone users.
