Blackberry w Powerbook

Hi,
I have a 15" Ti-Book that is 2 yrs old. I have Tiger installed. I need a new phone and am thinking about buying a Blackberry (BB) 7290. Can I Sync my Powerbook up with the BB so that I can get Mail, iCal, Address Book, etc. I use .Mac service and use an @mac.com e mail address.

Apple does not support Blackberry devices directly (as far as I can tell). Here is a link to their supported devices page:

It appears that I'd need some Pocket Mac thingie software adapter. I noticed that the Palm Treo 650 should sync right up. I may go that route. I'm looking for a PDA/Phone and the Treo should suit my needs.
