Another reason why I am glad I didn't wait until the Storm came out to switch to the Iphone.

No comparison, unless you own a Storm and are trying to justify your purchase.
 
I used a Storm, it's quite nice but it looks very cheap (light coming through the buttons) but it feels solid.

The OS is ok to use and looks nice but still no match for the iPhone at all.
 
On a MacBook laptop, the PocketMac program didn't even see either phone until I visited a separate site to grab a newer driver file.
Exactly my problem when I have the Crapberry curve.
 
Please! I would love this hardware if I could ditch this locked down OS.

If you want to run Android just go buy a G-1? Why would anyone want to run WM or Android on the iPhone? However, a blackberry app similar to Blackberry for Windows Mobile might be interesting, allowing iphones to run BB email on a BES.

Coz it would be a fun hacking project and if someone could set up a duel boot thing then it would be great to have the best of both worlds! In fact, it's not far, the hackers have made a bit of progress on a basic iPhone Linux doing this!
