What will you be using the laptop for? Any 3d graphics, photo editing, video editing? If you're expecting to use the laptop for browsing, email, and creative content creation that isn't terribly taxing on your system and graphics card, I'd wait until after WWDC next week, and see if they overhaul the macbook.

If they do, you may want to purchase new, or may have more refurb. options. The macbook pro may not be worth the extra money, depending on what you intend to use it for. If the macbook works for you, then you'll be able to get the awesome new red psp, shoes, and network adapter too, which is what I'd do, (especially if you also have a desktop computer). Good luck on your decision.
