Someone on craigslist is selling their Blackbook with the highest specs (2.4) for 1000. Seem like a good deal? Oh yeah he also says it's 3 weeks old.

great deal just beware of a scam. I paid 1393 on 9/25 and that was the cheapest at the time that I found, just to give you an idea.

the guy seems legit. I've already been communicating with him for a day and he's also from the area. I think he wannts to get the new one that's why he's selling.

Good deal! Meet in a public place and do the exchange. Don't send western union etc... Cash only!
Also, get the macbook serial number and check the warranty at the Apple website.

That is a good deal.

I just got a Blackbook 2.4 w/ 4GB of RAM for $900 with a speck case, computer is 5 months old. Only thing.. the HD was downgraded from 250GB to the 160. He orginally wanted $1000, and he went $900!

Sold my Powerbook 12 inch 1.5 for $565 on eBay.... I'm a happy camper!

So I bought the Blackbook today. Man, I got the best deal ever!

I confirmed through the Apple support page and he did buy it just 5 weeks ago. Its the 2.4GHz, 2GB RAM, 250GB HD Blackbook. Everything was included and and it even has the extended Applecare till 2011!

Best of all.... I got it from him for $900!!
I am so happy right now you guys have no idea. hehe

He told me he was going to buy the GlassBook and that's the reason he was selling it. He must have really wanted a GlassBook.

I think he wanted a glassbook asap. 2 days had gone by and I guess no one had offered him anything. I was the only one interested and told him all I could give him was 900 so he agreed.

He had gotten it through his university for really cheap anyway($1299), so that's why I think he let it go for $900.
