Blackbook Pro?

Ive been a long time reader here, but still haven't purchased my first mac yet. I still have life left in my comp and don't need a new one yet. I'm hoping apple refreshes the pro case soon, then i will make the leap over.

Anyways i came across this picture while hoping to find tour info on my favorite band.

Is that a black macbook pro?

Nope, black MacBook.

There are no coloured MBPs. Unless you go here and pay through the nose to get one custom painted..

I know about colorware, but dont they leave it more glossy than that?

He is a decently famous artist, i thought that maybe he could have asked apple for it custom. To me the screen looks bigger than a macbook, it looks closer to 17".

Colorware has two tones of black...

He also could have had another custom outlet do it, but chances are ITS NOT A CUPERTINO CUSTOM

To me it also looks like the speakers are on the side, like the pro. Hes pretty short, but if the camera makes the macbook look big wouldn't every thing else be bigger too.

I was hoping that maybe a redesign was coming and he just got an early gift from apple. The picture was recent cause he has been in the studio this past week. But to me the screen looks like a 17" and aluminum.

Yuk a black MBP! Just the thought of it sends shudders down my back. Why would you want to pay more a computer that is made from the same thing is a lower priced item? I love the current MBP cases.
