BlackBook screen issues

I recently got a black macbook and the screen seems really dim/dull to me. I am used to looking a 13 MBP because that is what I have been using for the past 2 years so i was wondering if the BlackBooks screen has some kind of issues or if the screens on those models were THAT much worse than the new MBP's
