blackbook with FCE and logic express

will the current blackbook with 4gb ram be able to decently handle final cut express and logic express? if not do you think it will be able to after the next update ( whenever it may be), or should i just get a MBP.

Well, I hear that the air runs FCP at an ok speed (on short clips) so unless you're doing crazy advanced stuff you should be OK. Although if you can, maybe spring for the MBP. Alex Lindsay mentions this (albeit somewhat briefly) on Macbreak Weekly (twit.tv) this week...

As long as your movie isn't too long, the BlackBook should be OK, but obviously for longer movies, the pro will reduce rendering times.
