I have an blackra1n jailbroken iPhone 3GS 3.1.2. It was jailbroken for 3 months.

Yesterday the phone suddenly died (not because of battery, it just died) so I tried to re-blackr1n it. But after I ran blackr1n and the pc screen says waiting for reboot, the phone shows the apple logo and hangs. I tried to make it to recovery mode serveral times but blackra1n still failed. I was not able to re-virginize it to 3.1.2 because Apple is blocking it.

It seems I can only upgrade it to 3.1.3 and jailbreak it with other methods? Any chances I can restore my phone to 3.1.2 and how?

Many thanks.
