blacksn0w unlock with AT&T SIM

I travel overseas, and have unlocked my iPhone with blacksn0W. When I return, I put my AT&T SIM back in, but I get sporadic dropouts with the phone "searching" for signal where I know it is strong. Is this usual behaviour? Is it not recommended to keep the unlock on with an AT&T SIM? Do I need to remove/reapply the unlock each time I travel?

I have the blacksnow unlock with an AT&T sim and my phone always drops its signal periodically

I restored and it kept happening. Its either a problem with the phone's radio hardware or AT&T's network, nothing with blacksnow.

In my case, if I remove the unlock it goes back to normal.
