How are people able to have a blank home screen with just the icons in your dock and your wallpaper showing? Every time I try it gets deleted.

How I did it was

1. I had only 1 folder in my dock.
2. All my other apps were put into folders and all moved to the second page.
3. The first page remained blank and did not get deleted.

You need to move the icons over onto the 2nd page on the phone itself, don't do it through itunes.

At least thats what I gather from reading these boards. I've never actually owned, used or seen an iphone in action lol.

When I did it I had to move the icons off of the home screen on the phone. As far as I know it won't work with iTunes without it getting deleted. It will however stay this way even if you sync with iTunes, unless you use the iTunes Apps tab, then it gets deleted.

It would be cool if they had a setting to either have a blank home screen or not.
