Hi all,

Not sure if this is the proper section for this. It's to do with both Macbook Pro and Snow Leopard, so if it's in the wrong place, Mods, please move it.

I've just installed Snow Leopard on my 2006 Macbook Pro, and in the process, the screen has gone blank (black). As part of the process, it restarts a couple of times, but each time, after about 10 seconds, it goes blank again. No amount of key pressing revives it. There were no problems when I installed it on my iMac.

Edit: I had a closer look and could see a VERY faint outline of some windows, I then turned up the brightness and all's well in the world again. Now, what I'd like to know, is how that happened to screw up the screen brightness in the first place

Thank you

Damo
