I have been browsing ifixit all day regarding a screen issue i am having with my Macbook Pro 15" Core 2 Duo Model A1211. I was watching a video on youtube and realized my macbook was running very hot. All of a sudden, the screen went to the point of almost being black, but you can still see dimly lit icons. It smelled like an electrical fuse was blown. Upon taking my macbook apart, I saw a part on the logic board which seems to me like it got fried. I have included pictures of what I am speaking of. I was wondering if this is fixable, by replacing the blown fuse?

Another thing, the external display out does work, which I think is a good sign!

Truly thank you for your help and expertise. If this is something I can potentially fix myself I would be so happy....I'm broke!
