Blank Screen - Please help

Hi,

Just wandering if anyone can help me before I take my i-phone back to the Apple store.

Yesterday the screen went blank and I am not able to get it back on - the phone is fully charged and if you phone it you can still hear the ring tone but can't answer it.

Any ideas would be very much appreciated??

what were you doing when this happened? what iphone is it? is it unlock/jb?

Wasn't doing anything when it happened was in my pocket and realised when I next took it out. Happened once and after phoning it the screen lit up and worked fine - put the phone back in my pocket and about half an hour later the same happened but this time it wouldn't light back up.

The iPhone is 8GB 3G

Connected to iTunes last night and it seemed to work as normal although still cannot see any display on my phone?!?

Just received a text so is working fine but cannot see anything.

Anyone have any other ideas?
