Some long-time forum members may remember this oldie but goodie from 2008. This design was naturally dismissed at the time as unrealistically too thin to be workable. Looks like the thinness (as well as the rounded design) depicted in the render eventually came true.

Just the other day I was also thinking of some renders I saw before the iPhone 5 was released. When it looked as it did, I was very disappointed that the screen size only went from 3.5 to 4 and that Apple kept the very sharp edges.
Meanwhile I understand the reason (only now Apple is confident to produce something decent in the sizes they do) and am delighted about my iPhone 6!

we know we will see the same design for the 6s Plus. but for the iPhone 7, if the chaumferred edge makes a comeback ZOMG.. i'm all over it.
