Hi all, I have my third iphone 14 pro. I had purple, gold and now I have space black. Each of them had some kind of blemish/stain on frame. It did not come off after cleaning it with fingers or cloth. I asked for exchange. I tried different colors and every color had it. I am really angry. Now I have space black version and it has it, too. Is it normal? What should I do? Another replacement? Does anybody else have it? Phone is brand new, out of the box. Thanks for responses.

Buy a silver phone or just stop paying too much attention to minor blemishes. I only care about chips and dents anyway. I checked my new blue iPhone 13 and it is blemish free but it’s in a case now so it doesn’t matter too much.

That’s really odd. Did you get the devices from the same store? I’m wondering if they got a bad batch?
No :(
After first issue with purple one I tried another store. And after the same issue with gold one, I purchased this black in different store. I am really shocked :(

I remember pretty well my 12 Pro Max Pacific blue had that kind of blemish too, but I could hardly see it so I did not exchange it. The blemish was even more visible when I cleaned the frame with water. I guess it was something wrong with anodization process.

I suggest you go with Silver, as I never see the blemish on that color.

Unfortunately, these are very visible, mainly ones around connector :(
I will try silver one then.

Then I always go with silver because I don't care about scratches, they are just marks of time and can be buffed away whenever I want (actually I never tried). No anodization, no worry about cosmetic issues.

Might the store be willing to hand pick you an unblemished replacement?

3 phones in a row like this isn’t possible. You are seem to be the issue.

Unfortuntely, it is possible. They were opened directly in the stores in front of sales people. Probably one whole production is faulty. My husband has purple one from the first shippings in September and his is totally fine. Only the black one was opened at home.

Seems like whatever case you're using did it?

Looks like there's dust buildup around the volume buttons and the ring/silent switch.

When I take my iPhone out of a case it has those markings as well.

Bring it in to the Apple Store. If you can’t, you can buy a case and cover up the blemishes.

What blemish? It looks like oil and fingerprints. My Gold iPhone 14 Pro Max has those marks too when I take my case off and I just wipe it and goes away.
It's a real defect in the finish of the phone. It's not just dirt. You can have marks that wipe away, but this is something different.
