Block a specific website?

So, I'm wondering if its possible to block a website that I visit (and no its not here). Basically, for the next week, I need to avoid spending time at 1 website, and my own power can't do it. Is there a way? I use firefox on my macbook core2dual

It worked for blocking on safari, but not firefox
