I am trying to make my MacBook more secure.
Under Security, there is an option called "Block all incoming connections".
If you check that, I believe you wouldn't be able to surf the Internet, right?
However, what I am wondering is this...
I have been reading that Java has lots of security holes - or at least Java for Web Browsers.
Would it make sense to "Block Incoming Connections" for Java and Java Preferences.app??
I have already disabled Java in FireFox, and as far as I know, I am not using Java for anything on my MacBook which runs Snow Leopard 10.6.8, btw.
Sincerely,
Debbie
